2018 Summer Update
Dear Friends and Sangha,
As July 2018 comes to an end, I am preparing for Mexico and Venezuela.
I would like to thank all the friends who came to my teachings in Highland Park, New Jersey, Yardley, Pennsylvania, Massapequa, Long Island, New York, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Cape Cod, Massachusetts,
I look forward to visiting with you and sharing dharma again in 2019.
To help my many projects I am introducing a new way my students and friends can become members of The Bodhicitta Foundation through making monthly donations.
The projects include assisting a Buddhist nunnery, helping refurbish a monastic school’s kitchen and dining area, preparing an outdoor activity area for Tibetan refugee children in Bir, providing assistance for the educational and health needs of refugees and helping the animals. These projects are all dear to my heart and I personally provide oversight, as I travel to the east each year. None of these projects would be possible without your generosity for which I am deeply grateful every day.
The development of a new physical Bodhicitta Foundation Meditation Center has grown as a priority. My dream to establish a home for The Bodhicitta Foundation has become more urgent, as my many years of traveling have taken a toll on my health. If I am able to establish a small center, it would help reduce my travels and facilitate my having a comfortable place to work from while in the United States. Your assistance in helping make a Bodhicitta Center a reality are greatly appreciated.
I am establishing a new monthly video teaching system to provide all “member donors” with short video teachings on a regular basis. These short teachings will be offered to my monthly donors as a thank you for their generosity and will help maintain our spiritual connection, no matter where in the world I travel.
As you all know, The Bodhicitta Foundation is a recognized 501 c 3 Charitable Organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. Under their regulations, donations to The Bodhicitta Foundation are tax deductible. Your kind donations are greatly appreciated.
